The company started in 1967 as Mil-Oro Manufacturing Corporation, with its main line of manufacturing and marketing mens, ladies, and children socks. Its first plant in Quezon City operated a modest number of manned machines.During the early seventies, the company acquired a location in Makati, which is now the site of its current operations. Over the years, the company has learned to continuously modernize its technologies, paving the way for its success today. In 1993, the company decided to adopt its present corporate name, Burlington Industries Philippines Incorporated, therefore, further boosting itself as a leader in the industry.Today, Burlington is the trademark owner of 5 sock brands in the Philippines: Burlington, Bally, Camp, Biofresh and Puma. With over four decades of experience in the hosiery industry, Burlington has established its reputation as the socks authority, enjoying continued patronage from local institutional clients such as the SM Group, Robinsons Group and other clients and distributors nationwide.In addition to this, Burlington continues to widen its market reach by venturing into different products such as insoles, foot sprays, foot powders, towels, and undergarments. The company also takes pride in introducing several new technologies such as its Antimicrobial and Dri+ Plus technology that continue to give more value to customers.Lastly, Burlington Industries is also proud to be certified against the ISO 90001:2000 International Standard.
